| Welcome to the Information Superhighway (or at least my little overpass thereof). You can download Microsoft Internet Explorer here. You can download NetScape here. If you access the Internet through an on-line service that doesn't allow you to use NetScape or Explorer, then you might as well go home! (CompuServe users take heart: Microsoft recently agreed to license the Explorer browser to CompuServe, so you'll soon have a browser that doesn't suck.)
Doley's Playhouse is brought to you today by the letters O, D, Q, the number 6, and especially the kind folks at New Vision Media. Comments and flame mail to me. Now, first things first: here are the various World Wide Web links I've compiled, from when this page was nothing more than a virtual library (er, cybrary). I've paid particular attention to keeping my computer-related and gaming links up to date. Second: several of my boyz in the Net hood have home pages of their own. Curt Boyll brings us ElectricVille, where you can purchase top-quality paper-airplane designs. Jeremy Beal has constructed Beal's Blastoff, the perfect starting point in your netsurfing exploits. Lastly, some miscellaneous stuff: this page was designed and built on a Gateway 2000 P5 60. It works best on a 1024X768X65,000-color display. A Wavetable-equipped sound card wouldn't hurt, either (like a Sound Blaster SB32), since I'm going to use background MIDI sounds that have lots of tracks and really cool instruments (if I can find such MIDIs, that is...). Now, on to the experiments. (But first--I'll need some time to actually prepare them...) |
